Specializing in historic building methods (namely timber framing) and the integration of non-toxic building materials, the health of our clients and the environment is our top priority.

We are deeply committed to the preservation and restoration of historic structures and their integrity. Using traditional methods and materials, our goal is to repair, preserve, and protect these cherished structures for decades to come.

Because we have our own sawmill, we are capable of offering milling services for whatever your project may entail. This has allowed us to use hyper-local (even specific to your own property!) trees which has been extremely gratifying and a special component of our builds. While we typically only saw beams and lumber for our own projects, we would like to be available to those who can’t source beams in specific sizes from other local mills. Our sawmill can cut a maximum log size of 10” in depth, 20” in width, and 28’ long.

Even though we have access to more information than ever before, this often makes the building process far more overwhelming with the sheer quantity of (often contradictory) content to weed through. We offer consulting services on your building to help point you in the right direction and keep your project on track.
